General terms and conditions for the provision of services by Moto Travel Portugal

 

1. Moto Travel Portugal is responsible for providing its services in accordance with offers made via the site or directly to the customer.

2. Moto Travel Portugal is not responsible for:

- Damage to clients bikes

- Any accident occurring during the provision of their services

- Theft or loss of equipment or luggage

- Incorrect actions by their clients, on or off the road

- Changes to the route by unforeseen circumstances or other uncontrollable situations

- Bad weather and its effect on road conditions

- Last minute changes in terms of hotel or restaurant, not previously reported

- Changes or cancellation of our services due to political or social instability in the country, natural disasters, fires or other serious events outside our control.

3. The Client is responsible for:

- The use of a bike with all the legal requirements, appropriate for the trip

- Driving according to the Portuguese Highway Code

- Have valid documents, in particular for driving in Portugal

- To have liability insurance

- Conduct themselves in a civil manner towards the group

- Comply with the environmental protection standards in protected areas

- Inform Moto Travel Portugal of any restrictions, dietary or physical.

4. Reservations, payment and cancellations

- To confirm the reservation, a 50% deposit is required from the client

- The remaining 50% must be paid within 8 days before the commencement date of the tour

- If, for any reason, Moto Travel Portugal has to cancel their service, they will communicate this to their clients within 15 days prior to departure and they will refund the total amount paid by the client

- If the client wishes to cancel the trip, they must do so 30 days before the date of departure and will be refunded the amount paid on booking, minus 20% of the total value of the service, to cover administration costs

- If the client wishes to cancel less than 30 days before the date of departure, a refund will only be made, if it does not affect the rest of the group, particularly in terms of minimum number of participants

- If the client’s behavior is unsuitable during travel (for example, dangerous driving), Moto Travel Portugal reserves the right to cancel its services without any refund.

5. Photos and videos taken during the Moto services Travel Portugal may be used for marketing campaigns, which the client can opt out of, by written request.
